To slightly modify this effect, we are going to change some parameters.

On background 3, apply the 'Red Giant Trapcode Particular' plugin and select the 'HD fireworks circular' preset, as shown in steps 2.1 and 2.2.

The firework will be smaller, it will not have the same color, and it will not be centered like the previous one.

On background 2, apply the 'Red Giant Trapcode Particular' plugin and select the 'HD fireworks circular' preset as shown in steps 2.1 and 2.2 above.

This completes the operations for background 1 as the first fireworks and red-centered is what we want.

Under 'Presets' choose the 'HD Fireworks Round' setting.

The 'Red Giant Trapcode Particular' plugin has multiple parameters.

(This operation will be repeated for each background)

On background 1, apply the 'Red Giant Trapcode Particular' plugin by clicking on the small plug icon.

Backgrounds 4 and 5 last eight seconds and are used for Bengal light.

Backgrounds 1, 2 and 3 are four seconds long and will be used for fireworks.

The fifth will be created later by duplicating background 4.

You see 5 backgrounds on the image, but only add background numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Note: On the main track, the transparent backgrounds appear black. Here I used the main and the title tracks. This will allow overlapping effects on the video.

Populate your time line with 4 transparent backgrounds staggered as shown here.

The demonstration video and this tutorial are made with transparent backgrounds, but you can adapt this tutorial to suit your needs by replacing the transparent background with a video or an image of your choice.
